Automatic entraining of attention through isochronous stimulation
Events occurring with temporal regularity are powerful attractors of attention. In this talk, I will present our latest research about the robust and pervasive ability of isochronous rhythms to entrain attention and enhance performance (“temporal preparation guided by rhythms”). So far, we have not found the experimental conditions able to knock this mechanism out.
