Diana López-Barroso awarded

Clara Campoamor National Research Award for Young People, in the area of law and economic and social sciences

Our former member from the Cognition and Brain Plasticity Unit, Diana López-Barroso, has been awarded with the most prestigious Spanish recognition, Premios Nacionales de Investigación, for the originality of her innovative and multidisciplinary approach to the problem of individual differences in complex cognitive functions.

The main novelty of this edition of the National Awards is that the Ministry has created awards to recognise the work of young people under the age of 40, who have been able to achieve great accomplishments in the early stages of their careers in each of the ten areas of knowledge. These awards have been presented at the ceremony to be held today in Alicante, also bear the names of illustrious historical professionals who have left their mark in their respective scientific fields.
