Judit Gervain is a leading expert in language development with an international reputation. She is specialized in the use of functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS) to study the brain metabolism of infants while exposed to linguistic stimulation. Our collaboration aims at studying how prosodic information (as an attention orienting cue) enhances the acquisition of rules from speech in young infants.
