Collaboration of Aphasia Trialists Awards

Dr. Claudia Peñaloza, Ramón y Cajal research fellow at the University of Barcelona and the Cognition and Brain Plasticity Unit, received the Collaboration of Aphasia Trialists (CATs) 10 Year Anniversary Award for Knowledge for Early Stage Researchers. Early Stage and Junior Stage Researchers were recognized for their contributions to the international Collaboration of Aphasia Trialists at the 10 year anniversary dinner reception in Reykjavík, Iceland on the 13th of June, prior to the 8th Nordic Aphasia Conference. Claudia Peñaloza currently serves as elected deputy lead of the Working Group 2: Aphasia Assessments and Outcomes of the Collaboration of Aphasia Trialists, an international network of multidisciplinary aphasia researchers in the fields of rehabilitation, social science, psychology and linguistics from across more than 50 countries.
