Research interests

My main topic of interest is music effects on human brain function and plasticity as well as on motor and emotional recovery. More specifically, I’m focused on testing the effects of applying interventions of music therapy and music-supported therapy on the recovery of different patients. Currently, my research focuses on checking the benefits and reliability of music-supported therapy interventions for chronic stroke patients on their motor rehabilitation and their life quality improvement. Moreover, I’m studying the music effects on the associative interference of word memorization.
