Human and non-human learning, high versus low level processes in learning and consciousness, anticipatory processes
I did my PhD studying associative learning in humans and non-human animals, with a focus on how different processes are engaged during its acquisition and retrieval. Currently I’m trying to discover if it is possible to use neural correlates of these processes as a way to detect awareness and consciousness in patients suffering disorders of consciousness.
